It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ??? .....

A helicopter was raging in the west last nite …… 11:15 pm!!!! ….. at first ……. I didn’t even realize it was a helicopter ……. cuz there it was ..... up in the vast, black sky ...... a small blue light …... with a flashing red one .... moving ...... among the silver stars ...... and as the lights got closer …… I could hear the rumbling …… the annoying, late night kind …… that we’ve come to know so well ….. but it would soon disappear behind a mountain …… and just when I thought it had faded into the night …… the rumbling returned …… all RED ….. no blue light …… then ..... like a scene from CSI ……. ON comes the spotlight …….. ah big, long, white beam ……. right over Westmoorings!

…… ah wonder what dey was lookin for (in Westmoorings?!?!) …… ah wonder what dey’s really see wit dat light ….. and from dat height ….. ah wonder if dey know dat bandits could hear dem …… jus like me …… from where I sat ……. de whole scene …….. wuz a sight tuh see!

But de TnT sky real changin .….. “sky” is a word I used tuh automatically associate with …… blue …… and the sun ……. and maybe even a rainbow …….. or corbeaux ……. or stars ….. twinkling ones …… and shooting ones …… or the moon ….. and maybe a cow jumping over it …… a Sunrise ….. a Sunset ……. clouds …… and rain ……. thunder …….. and lightning …… God ……. and Heaven ……. and sometimes maybe fireworks …… or even ah BWEE plane!!!

But do you realize …… dat now …… when yuh hear de word “sky” …… is ah whole new batch ah thoughts ...... tuh add tuh de mix …… is buzzing blimps ….. and hovering, hollerin helicopters ….. and "eye in de sky" ...... and crazy paragliding men heading towards soca concerts …… and CA planes with(out) balisier on dey tail …… and a $400,000,000.00 Bombardier executive jet!!! …..

Oh ... how our sky is changing!!! ……
