Look what I got in today’s newspapers ....... well the Express and Newsday at least ........ salt from de Guardian!





Nope ...... it’s not another boring flyer ...... its SEEDS ...... real seeds ……. from HCL? ....... yep ....... came in a cute cardboard box ..... wit a plastic bag inside ...... full of "bodi seeds" ...... did you get? …… and which ones did you get? ……. cuz both my newspapers had the same seeds ...... although from reading de box ……. ah see ah coulda get ting like...... Ochro (YUM!!!) ....... Pumpkin (YUM!!!) ....... Corn (YUM!!!) ........ Melongene (YUM!!!) ....... Pigeon Peas ...... and Peppers  ........ WOW …… real seeds ...... to go plant a garden ..... to enrich life!

thing is tho ...... ah doh have anywhere tuh plant dem ....... in de concrete jungle dat I live in …… but if I could ….. I would ……. cuz food so damn expensive ...... dat growin yuh own food ...... is now becoming a viable option tuh ease de strain ...... de nex ting is ....... HCL constructin so many houses all over de place ....... wit very little land tuh grow anyting! ……. is ah setta highrise like One Woodbrook Place …… an ah setta chook-up chook-up townhouses and apartments ……. heck some of dem doh even have nuff space tuh park ah car ……. worse again tuh grow food …… so who go really benefit from dem seeds in de newspapers ……. as I see it …… only farmers who does read newspapers …… cuz de people who have de space tuh 'plant' …… could afford tuh buy de bodi ……. and de people who cyah afford tuh buy de bodi …. and want tuh 'plant' …… cyah afford de land tuh plant on  ……. is a cool gimmick nevertheless!!

anyway ...... maybe I'll still try ah ting ....... maybe I'll go get a lil flower pot ..... and some soil ..... and some instructions on how tuh grow bodi ……. maybe one day I’ll actually be able tuh harvest meh 20 bodi ....... cuz I have no idea what a bodi plant looks like ……. and what quantity one plant produces …… maybe one day I'll actually cook ...... cuz I'll actually have food tuh cook (de bodi!) …… or maybe I’ll give de seeds tuh meh fren who have ah kitchen garden ……. and maybe SHE could grow it ...... and cook it ..... and invite meh over tuh eat it!

..... and if HCL really want tuh 'enrich life in TnT' ...... maybe nex time ……. instead ...... dey could give away seeds fuh ah "MONEY TREE"!!!
