Oh my gosh ..... I am so excited ...... no negativity from me today!!! ...... although ...... it kinda hard tuh blank out ....... wit scenes like ....... gettin vex cuz de government want back dey land ...... dat yuh damn well squattin on ...... or gettin vex cuz de POS Mayor say no more vending on Charlotte Street ...... when vending is illegal in de first place ..... and yuh only end up dey fuh de past 2 years ...... cuz he give yuh ah bligh ..... or yuh vex yuh get horn ....... so yuh pelt ah grenade (ah grenade?????!!!!!) at de horner woman new man ....... who incidentally was standing among other people on ah pavement in town ...... or worse again ...... horn too ..... make yuh kill yuhself and yuh 4 year old son ...... or yuh decide yuh eh showing up in Parliament cuz yuh supportin yuh spoil brat leader (when is de business of de people gonna be dealt with?) ...... or dat people so scared and paranoid in dis country ....... dat nobody want tuh be a witness or a juror ....... so dey comin up wit all kinda whack excuses and reasons like ....... amnesia (dey cyah remember nuttin) ..... and illiteracy (dey cyah read de oath) ...... or prisoners throwin faeces at police officers who tryin tuh get dem into ah prisons van (eh? ..... where dey get faeces from ..... dey were able tuh shit at will????) ....... or yuh so vex dat food prices jammin yuh ..... dat yuh ambush ah truck in traffic (dat transportin food) ...... and yuh beat up de driver ...... and tief de food off de truck ..... in plain view of de odda 1000 people in de same traffic!!!!!

But anyway ....... as ah say ...... ah on ah positive vibes today ...... growin food!

Remember when yuh was in primary school ...... an' yuh had tuh do dat 'grow ah plant' project ...... from scratch ....... from de seed ...... and yuh was so excited dat it actually grow ..... well I discovered ...... dat as ah hard back adult ..... the feeling is the same ...... pure amazement!

On Easter Sunday (March 23) ...... when I got packets of bodi seeds with two of the daily newspapers....... out of pure idleness ...... ah say leh meh trow some (3) in ah bottle ...... and see what happen ...... well de same ting dat happened donkey years ago ....... happened nine days later (see below):

 
                    April 1 - Germination (middle seed)
                      

                    April 3 - Two days later ..... lil leaf and root an' ting!
                      

                    April 4 - One day later ..... yuh would swear I give it growin 
                    mash ...... de seed buss open ..... and de leaf come right out!
                      

                    April 5 - One day later (today) ...... baby bodi standin up
                    in her crib! ......
                     


Well dis had tuh be ..... de first ting I ever successfully bring tuh life ..... and WOW ..... what a life its been so far ...... dat ting growin by de hour ...... literally ...... cuz I've been keenly observing the growth spurts ....... this morning the two little leaves were still inside the bottle ..... and now (some hours later) they're peeping their way out the top ...... watching the seedling grow is simply amazing ..... I am like such a child again with this project ....... next week ....... I think I'll go get a pot and some soil etc. ...... cuz it looks like somebody's ready fuh ah transplant ...... yeah ...... there's only so much damp tissue could do ..... lil baby bodi need some real nourishment now!!

So far ...... this has been very uplifting ...... you should try it ...... go grow sumtin ...... no green thumb required!!
