Is Maljo?

Three days ....... after showing off ..... my 6 beautiful bodi plants ...... dey get maljo!!! ...... who 'bad eye' meh bodis??!!

Last week Wednesday ...... I noticed a shiny, silver looking, meandering line ....... on two of the leaves ...... of one of the plants ....... I didn't think anything of it ....... clueless me ..... I assume it could wipe off ...... so ah spray de leaves wit some water ..... and wipe dem off ....... de nex day (Thursday) the lines were still there ...... but again ....... I didn't think anything was wrong ...... however ....... on Friday ........ when I discovered another one of the plants with the same 'lines' on the leaves ...... I became very alarmed!!

If yuh look good .... by de arrows ..... yuh will see de
silver lines on de leaves

I immediately started calling garden shops ...... to seek advice ...... well ...... turns out ...... two of my babies had 'leaf miners' ...... some crap plants get from insects ...... something I never foresaw ...... cuz I was of the impression ...... that since my babies live under cover ...... that is ..... on my porch ...... that they were safe from crap ...... well .... no eh!!

That same morning ...... I went out and bought the prescribed medication ....... and applied it one time ...... while at the shop ...... I even enquired as to whether there was anything else I should give them ..... and fertiliser was the only other thing recommended ...... the Shop Owner even went on to tell me ...... dat is only when shit happens ...... that you buy stuff ..... in other words ..... it eh have no preventative stuff fuh plants ....... like vaccine ...... yuh jus have tuh feed dem ..... and if someting should go wrong ..... yuh deal wit dat particular problem ..... sounds like kinda wack advice if yuh ask me!!! ...... but den again ...... I eh know nuttin bout plants ..... so ah hadda take his word fuh it!

Padan fuh de 'silver lines' ..... and plant food (aka Fertilizer)

... applying the medicine ..... by spraying back and
front of all the leaves .....

Anyway ........ today ..... two days later ....... the 'silver lines' haven't spread to any of the other plants ...... but now ...... some of the leaves have withered ...... and some of them have big, brown spots!

.... arrows show the silver stuff and the brown stuff

I have no idea how to deal with this new crap ...... today is Sunday ...... everywhere close ...... ah cyah call nobody ...... so I'll have to wait til tomorrow ...... I'm just hoping (and praying) ..... that they don't get worse ....... and that maybe the brown spots are just part of the healing process!!

In de meantime ...... ah goin an look fuh some 'blue'!
