I realise now ....... that 'disoriented' was the wrong word to use in my last post ...... I'm not disoriented ...... I am going @#!$% crazy!!!!!!!!! ........ I've been having the worse month ever!!! ....... for the past few weeks ...... I've been living in complete and total chaos ....... for various reasons ..... but mainly because of sudden workmen overcrowding ...... earlier in de month ..... was de burglar proofin man ...... and painters all over de compound ....... painting de apartment buildings ...... den recently ..... was electricians all over de apartment I live in ...... 5 to be exact ...... de borseman ...... and he 4 worker ants ...... fuh three days straight ...... they were in every corner ....... 'rewiring' ...... de entire apartment! ...... and for very long periods of each day ....... there was no electricity ....... and strangely ....... every blasted outlet in de apartment ..... was either behind someting ....... or inside someting ...... so the apartment had tuh be turned inside out ...... in order to access outlets ....... today and tomorrow are their off days ....... so ah usin all de electricity ah could possibly use ....... cuz is back tuh de 'darkness' on Tuesday ....... yuh would swear I livin in ah mansion ....... I cyah understand why 5 men taking so long tuh rewire a small apartment?! ..... which I'll probably have tuh repaint when dey done ........ cuz dey fingerprints everywhere!!! ....... ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Anyway ...... just when I thought my month wasn't going too well ....... and that last week was HELL!!! ......
 
Did you see the story about the couple who lived on the streets of San Fernando ..... 





Not a new scenario in Trinbago ..... cuz there are people all over the country living on the streets ...... but this one is so heart wrenching ...... it was first brought to my attention ..... by a friend who read about it in one of the dailies ..... then ..... I think there was a follow up story last week ....... and now there's another one ...... in today's Express ........ the short version is ..... the woman saved the man's life some time ago ..... when their house was burnt ...... they then became homeless in POS .... and someone advised them ....... that life on the streets would be easier in San Fernando ....... so they moved ..... the woman ..... who was ill ...... and on drugs ...... and was a prostitute to support her drug habit ...... was beaten while living on the streets ...... and so badly ..... that the man ...... who felt some kind of obligation to this woman for saving his life ..... then purchased a grocery cart to carry her around ...... and take care of her ...... since she couldn't walk ...... both from the beating and from illness ....... he even had to feed her milk (like a baby) since she couldn't stomach anything heavier ...... as time passed ....... the woman ....... her name is Cynthia ..... Cynthia got progressively worse ...... and required medical attention ....... which proved to be a challenge ...... since a doctor would not come to her on the streets ...... and she was afraid to go to one ....... and the man ..... Sylvester ...... was often unable to get transport to buy her medication ...... as nobody wanted a 'vagrant' in their taxi ...... Cynthia eventually died last week ...... she was 38 ....... she died of HIV ....... it was also reported that Sylvester ....... her friend ..... her companion ...... her caregiver ...... has returned to the streets of San Fernando ...... to await his turn to die (on the street)!

while I was gripin bout havin da worse month ever ....... Sylvester and Cynthia were having the worse life ever!!!
