I love to take pictures ...... of any and everything ...... I'm not a photographer ...... I'm just a gaper with a camera ..... I love to take pictures of flowers ..... I'm always snapping flowers ...... oh and I especially like to take pictures ..... of odd things too ...... things you might say ...... are very 'Trini' ...... so since I have many pictures ..... just piling up on my hard drive ..... fuh today ..... let's let de pics talk .....

this is xora ..... is that how its spelt? ...... never saw this colour before tho ..... normally see it in red and yellow .....
OMG ..... you would not believe de mass of bush I spot these leaves in ..... loved them ..... love the heart shape ..... they look like 'leaves of love' ..... altho one is obviously dying ...... and both were obviously eaten by some insect!
oh gorm ..... more bougainvillea ..... beautiful burnt orange ......
..... this is some kind of lily?? ...... or anthurium maybe ..... doh know ....... all ah know ..... is that dat flower (and two more) appear jus so one day ..... after having de plant fuh years!!!

..... this one I call 'guava season' ..... but yuh know how long I eh eat ah guava ...... wit dem tiny seeds stickin up in yuh teet ..... while yuh tryin tuh scope out if it have worm in it!

..... oh and this spider was jus crawlin around my bathroom floor ...... didn't see him in time tuh play de mark tho ...... it have ah mark called spider rite?

altho I find snails quite 'ughhhh' ..... this one was kinda cute ...... but ughhhh fuh real ..... dat slimy ting it does leave behind!

How u knew I would know? Unfortunately, while I have seen the flowers, I am unable to put names to all. There are even one or 2 in my garden, so I will consult my sister who is the "expert" I have this inclination to get to know you, because I like your style. Hope this becomes a reality???

I never posted a comment before, but I wanted to share the name of one of the flowers with you. The first one (orange one with plenty petals) is called a Marigold. There are a few varieties with some a lighter yellow and others with a really beautiful deep red center and orange-yellow tips.

This is a great post! I love your style-had me giggling at my desk all the way through (except for that frog - EWWWWW!). I love Lal's ! Usually the traffic on Park Street so bad you could park the car right in the middle of the road, get a bag of pineapple or plum chow and be back in your car before the car in front you inch up.
And you know how long I haven't eaten a guava? It looks so good!
