Therefore ..... 99% of the time ...... when I write ..... you'd see ..... ah helluva lot of ....... stupidity ...... idiocy ...... ignorance ...... arrogance ...... pure dotishness ...... sarcasm ...... some cussin ....... real kix ...... and plenty steupsin ...... because ...... that IS life in Trinidad and Tobago ......

Now ah doh mean tuh harp ..... on dis car scene eh ...... but check dis out ......

Remember I mentioned ..... dat yesterday ...... ah went tuh Unit Trust ...... tuh get some money ..... and dey give meh ah cheque .... which I promptly deposited at my regular Bank ..... right ...... that was done during the early afternoon period ......

In de nite now (i.e. last nite) ..... ah pull up meh account ...... doh ask meh why ..... no reason ...... ah was on meh computer ..... an' ah have access tuh meh account .... online ...... so ah pull it up ...... only tuh discover ...... dat de cheque ..... WAS showin up in de transaction history ..... but de cheque amount ...... WAS NOT showin up in de 'current balance' ..... now I eh want tuh get too technical ...... but hold .... or no hold ...... the amount still suppose tuh be reflected ...... in de current balance ...... blah, blah, blah ...... but I eh dig nuttin ...... ah say dey muzbe have some overnight processing dramas or sumtin!

Anyway ..... about five minutes ago ...... de cheque cross meh mind ..... an ah pull up meh account ...... tuh check it again .....

Well HELLO ...... not only was it ...... STILL NOT BEING REFLECTED ..... in the account balance ....... IT WASN'T EVEN DEY no more ....... at all ...... de whole transaction ...... just disappear ...... it vanish ...... abracadabra ..... poof!!!

So ah pick up meh phone one time ....... an' ah call de Bank ......

They were just as baffled .....

Ah wasn't in de mood tuh bitch (ah was hungry) ...... so ah tell dem ..... hear what ...... allyuh better set up an immediate commission of enquiry ...... and find my money ....... immediately ....... if not sooner ...... and failin dat ..... by at least next week Tuesday!!!

JAH!!! ...... is never a dull moment wit me eh! ...... but these days ...... someting is definitely screwin wit my karma ...... ah feel ah go read over ..... The Secret ..... cuz clearly it still a secret ..... an' ah tink ah go check out de church ...... that is just a stone's throw away from where I live ...... cuz once de secret is out ..... I'm gonna still need some prayers ....... and ah splash of holy water!!!



UPDATE

De Bank jus call meh back ..... dey tell meh it hit 'unposted' ..... an dey eh know why ..... well HELLO ...... it must hit 'unposted' ..... cuz ah didn't POST IT!!! ..... anyway ...... dey tell meh dat everyting will be OK ...... by 12:00 midnight (tonight) ..... they apologised .... and was glad to know ..... that I didn't actually need de money tuh hit yesterday! ....... now suppose dat was de case ...... and I really needed dat money tuh hit de account YESTERDAY! ..... you see de tan-ta-na dat woulda take place ...... if I had only issue any cheques on said money!!! ...... ahhhhhhh  ....... my wonderful efficient Bank ..... that I slaved for ..... for half my life!!!
