Isn't SWAT ...... an American thing ...... and Tactical ..... de Trini version?
Today I end up behind dat big black monstrosity ..... wit a D plate ...... a ladder ...... a 'left hand drive' warning ..... and some big ass SWATs all around it ......
So are we importing SWAT? ..... or just a SWAT vehicle? ...... is this part of de Acting Commish crime fighting plan?
GYUL....SWAT and other US security.....Secret Service have been here for about 2 months or more and will be here until after the Summit of the Americas in April 2009...they are based at the Hyatt where the Summit will be held.....Have you not seen the large helicopters flying up and down?...well U.S.!!!!..............They are here to ensure full security for the event, seeing that the US President will be here, along with Raul Castro, Hugo Chavez and all other Heads of States for the Americas.........

Oh Gawd look at trouble. Ah not sure Triniland ready fuh dis nah. Mark dem dates on yuh almanac and go Tobago. Wid all dem heads of state in T&T, tong and ALL de surroundings go be under lock down de likes of which T&T will have never seen before. Not so much fuh dem udder heads of state buh fuh de US President. Almost every single police, soldier, sailor, SRP go be on duty tuh support de US Secret Service as dey doh ever leave de job of protecting de president tuh local authorities. Ah know we Trinis love we bacchanal and dis go be ah once in ah lifetime event buh it go be ah darn good time tuh go visit Tobago oui.
And ah even mention dat at nearly every single one ah dese summits it had serious, serious protests and rioting. Dat is what de rest ah dem police go be handling. Yuh have family dong south? Go visit dem, sleep on dey floor even.

Just heard on the news that the LAPD are going to be here to help "fight crime" Maybe they came with their SWAT team...wait that was heading to Beetham or what?
LAPD used to have a bad rep at one point didn't they...known for going a bit overboard with the rough stuff...xactly what we need

For a moment there, I thought that the dengue peoblem was solved, that they going SWAT all dem mosquito.
After seeing all dat flood in the newspapers, yuh could imagine the dengue to follow?

..... not only dengue ..... apparently the water woes have returned too ....... after not having water or electricity problems for a long time .... maybe 3 - 4 weeks ...... I have no water this morning ......

There is also a local knock-off security company called S.W.A.T but they, as jumbie said, might be more into mosquitoes and bags of money from hi-lo.
That S.W.A.T vehicle looks like the real thing and it is very possible they (summit security) want the word out that security at some high level exists. There was a helicopter, with searchlight on, circling my house last night so I stopped bloging just to be safe.

apparently someting by de Big Tree on de Diego Martin Main Road ....... mash up with de floodin ...... so they (WASA) were there all of yesterday fixing it ...... so yep ...... I had no water ....... ALL DAY yesterday ...... I have today tho ...... tank de Lord!!!

Anybody can have one--it is not limited to the United States.
Look it up online.

So I know its an acronym for Special Weapons and Tactics ..... but ....... is it that you're saying ...... that that acronym can be adopted in any country ..... and that the SWAT vehicle currently being test driven here ...... may not necessarily be SWAT from de US ..... but in fact a local SWAT?
