They can't. I used to work in Social Welfare and we have morons at the top. Morons who made it to the top and along the way used to take kickbacks and sexual favours (I hope you post this) from poor clients who had no choice if they want their lil pittance every month.

In this day and age they "tiefing" air and all. One has to be really stupid though, knowing that, to leave a container with hundreds of thousands of goods in it unguarded overnight. I see a lot of these business causing traffic and creating a public nuisance by parking their containers "free" in the road like it is their warehouse so apologies if my sympathy is not overflowing for these guys. Cool that they found it though. Wonder if the mlimp was finally able to do something, like spot a thirty foot container from the air?

so hear what confusing me the most: how is it that the police trainees were FORCED to bathe in tainted water?
That makes it seem as if they knew the water was 'tainted' and they made them shower with it! Was it an issue of hazing or something? ...steups....

Steups.. is really a head-hurting bizniz wid dat story in truth. Ah mean tuh say, they not even suggesting some sort of 'criminal activity' in the water contamination, unless is some kind of top secret investigation goin orn. Yuh ask the right questions. HOW in the good Lord's name water supplied to the Police Barracks (supposedly via WASA pipelines) get 'tainted'? Like is really barrel they collectin' rain water in.
And since ah fussin: the use of 'tainted' is just riding my last nerve... LOL. Not exactly sure why, but it seems so foolish to me. I just feel that 'contaminated' is a better, or more accurate word choice. Anyway, could just be me over-thinking it.

Last year a container with rims was stolen from Jack's Tire and as far as I know it was never recovered. The police was informed soon after the break in but were unable to locate the container. However, trinis like rims and the cheaper the better. Maybe the police rims too.
Most "services" in the public "service" are designed, intentionally, to frustrate citizens. Pensioners are nobody special and to the public servant they are just another nuisance. For a public servant to use commonsense in providing the public with service would be to not do his or her job.

Okay ah know dat some report just come out lambasting de TTPS performance in ah whole set ah areas rating dem as poor or ah failure or something none ah we would want on we chirren report card. One ah de areas had tuh do wid intelligence (gathering). Maybe my intelligence even lower dan de TTPS buh ah cyar stop asking mihself why de police eh just 'sit' on dis big-arse container (undercover in case dey tink ah meaning in marked police cars), and wait tuh see who come tuh unload it and catch dem in de act.

HA HA HAAAAAA .. you painted a clear picture. But you could imagine how much of tantana musbe went on to move this container. Plus, all the lookouts and dem done warn the culprits that police coming long before the po-pos even dream to jump in dey car and roll up on the container. TTPS so embarrassing sometimes. gosh man!
