Since gettin back meh internet (in ah kyna kyna way) ...... I haven't really been online much ..... but de few times ah happen tuh buss ah lil maco ...... ah notice dat ah get TAGGED ..... twice ..... yes ..... two different kinds ..... on two different blogs ..... Ms. Wallah tag meh wit some kinda 'pick ah pic and write about it' scene ...... and Mr. Slacker tag meh wit some kinda 'write about Scene' scene!
Now generally ...... I doh really indulge in dem tings eh ...... but ...... because is meh gyul Wallah ..... an' meh bwoy Slacker ..... ah decide ah go play along ...... but only tuh ah certain extent tho ..... cuz I eh taggin nobody else when I done ...... I jus fulfillin my duty .... as a Tag-ee
So ah will start wit de Wallah tag ...... which apparently started wit Agentum Vulgaris ...... who tagged Wallah ...... who then tagged me ...... and what I'm supposed to do now ..... is find the 4th file (I assume that means folder) on my computer ...... then find the 4th image in that file (or folder) ...... then post the image on this here blog ..... and talk lil bit about it ....... hmmmmm ...... story of my blogging life right ....... should be simple enuff!?

I cyah seriously jus pick one pic ...... so guess what ..... because is me ..... an' ah have it like dat ..... ah changin de rules (of course applicable tuh me only) ...... instead of picking just one image from one folder ...... I goin an' post ah few images about one topic ...... i.e. PARKING ..... or rather ...... NO PARKING!!!
Now is ah while now ah been gatherin these pics eh ...... and I knew that some day I'd eventually write about them ..... cuz even tho ...... nobody does really say anyting ..... or gripe about de situation ...... there IS a real situation developing in Trini ..... and I doh know if is de same in Bago ..... but have you noticed ...... that there is absolutely NOWHERE tuh park yuh car ...... we have become the land of crime and no parking!!! ...... 'no parking signs' are so common now ..... dat dey come like traffic lights ..... or BEWARE OF DOG!!! ...... now some of de signs valid eh ..... cuz is in front people gateway an' ting ....... but what ah sayin is ..... even those too annoyin meh now ..... cuz is almost as if puttin up ah NO PARKING sign ..... is like ah new style ..... steups ...... jus seein dem two words at every turn ..... real startin tuh mess wit meh psyche!!!
Cuz de ting is ...... in a country where we still depend on driving we own car ..... tuh go everywhere (cuz de public transport sucks) ..... is ah real stress ...... when it have nowhere tuh park!!! ...... look at ah place like town ..... when I have tuh go eeeen town ..... I seldom go alone ..... cuz it just have no parking ..... so what I does do ..... is chain up somebody tuh go wit meh ..... and while one in de car ..... de odda one go jump out ..... an' vice versa ..... cuz even if yuh DO get ah park ...... in some supposed car park ..... is always some piper hustlin ah lil $5 (per hour) ..... and packing up de so-called car park ....... which more often than not ..... is not really ah real car park ..... just ah empty abandoned lot of land ....... and den tellin yuh tuh leave yuh keys ...... Grrrrrrrrrr ...... HELL NO!! ..... not my "high-end premium gas only car" ...... dey mad!!! ..... nex ting I come back ..... and de car park (and my car) disappear!!!
I remember ...... long time ...... yuh used tuh be able .... tuh jus pull up outside ah store an' run eeeen quick ...... but now ...... lawd ...... is like de entire population (in cars) on de road ...... which is all well and good ..... cuz it mean more people could afford tuh buy car ....... but geeeeezan ages ...... it really eh have nowhey tuh put all ah dem ....... an' doh tell meh bout no PARKADE on Richmond Street ...... cuz if I goin Charlotte Street ..... me eh parkin quite dey ..... den too ..... me eh really like dem high-rise car parks either ..... cuz I see in de movies .... dat it does have bandit an' ting hiding in dem places ...... and leh we doh even talk bout de parking fees ..... cuz da'is ah whole odda story!
Anyway ..... the point of this rant ..... is ...... actually I eh have no point ...... as ah done say ...... ah jus wanted tuh fulfill meh Tag-ee obligation ..... an' ah just want ..... tuh be able tuh get ah blasted PARK when ah need one ..... da'is all!!!
Now look at dis story ....... dis story fuh real???? ...... da'is tuh tell yuh how bad de parkin situation is in Trinidad ...... even bandits gettin stressed out! ..... and rightly so ..... cuz you know what ah setback it is ...... when you plan ah robbery ...... an' it eh have nowhere tuh park de getaway car ...... PRESSURE! .... but .... being the thinking bunch that they are (bandits that is) ...... comin up wit dat idea ...... tuh tief NO PARKING signs ..... is genius ...... it borse ...... cuz it then means ..... that they can now reserve ah spot when required .... i.e. tuh facilitate quick entry and quick getaways ...... ahhhh ...... hear nah ..... bandits eh playin dey bright nah ...... dey bright fuh so ...... if only dey was tuh apply dem brains .... tuh do good instead!
Look dem ..... is dem same kinda NO PARKING signs dat dey tief in Sando ..... I feel I go hops up one too yes!! ..... so when ah have lil turns tuh make ..... ah could jus install one de nite before ..... in de desired spot!
..... now maybe it is a valid sign ...... but oh gorm ..... ah lil professionalism nah ....... yuh go use spray paint ..... in de most crapaud foot writin ....... ah lil penmanship!!!

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING (wit de word 'Absolutely' in caps AND underlined) ...... so yuh know dem serious ..... cuz absolutely no parking is one ting ...... but absolutely (in caps and underlined) no parking is quite another .... especially when it applies tuh 'INFRONT' that gate!
..... such neighborliness ...... and frugalness ...... and common sense ...... cuz really an' truly ..... if de two of allyuh gateways adjoined ..... den it doh make sense ..... puttin separate signs on each gate ...... ah like it .... but hear nah .... have you noticed ...... dat altho dey have one sign ...... dey have two different colour wall ...... is like ah two-tone wall ...... ah like dat too!

first off is not me who take dem signs from SanDoh... i had one ah dem 'horse' ones years ago but it rotten...
no parking in gateway... i doh think meh car wudda fit anyway!

Girl you are too funny. Lol. And they say I does take idle pics? Lmao. But is the same thing in Bago yes. In the airport full of No parking signs but yet the parking space can only hold 25 cars. Steups. So yunno dem signs come like dey invisible.

Funny you should say ah funny ...... cuz I'm only now realising that I may be in trute ...... cuz you know ..... about two days ago ...... some Spanish accented person ..... call my landline ..... claimin tuh be some TSTT Rep .... conducting a Customer Service Survey for TSTT ...... an' after ah done answer she 100 questions ...... de woman tell meh how she really enjoyed speaking with me ..... an' how ah make her laugh so much ..... and dat is de same ting de odda TSTT gyul had tell meh de odda day too (de one who tell meh ah might get ah 'negro') .......
But yuh know what de funny ting is ....... I does be DEAD SERIOUS ....... just like de serious no parkin situation .... dat evidently ..... exists in Bago too!

That sign in the last pic does always bother me. Some years ago, I can't remember who, had his car broken into or stolen from the airport, and he sued the AA.
The AA claimed that they had disclaimer signs. The man claimed he paid a fee for secured parking.
The judge ruled in favour of the man. I recall reading this in the Express, because as allyuh know, I does macco newspaper every day like bachac looking for food.
So technically, as long as you charge a blinking fee to provide parking, you are liable for damages to any vehicle on said property.
Go check on it.

That sign is actually in Starlite Plaza ...... where yuh doh really pay tuh park ..... so I guess dey could really say what dey want .....

These are signs of the times. I don't know if you realize it but these sign photos and the graffiti ones you had before are very important in documenting the history of a country. The history of a country is made up more of the little day to day things we fail to notice that the explosions in the end. Keep it up scene
