Today ..... after reaching the point of wantin tuh kill ah man (in the figurative sense of course) ...... ah decide ah goin an' call TSTT ..... and threaten tuh cancel meh BLINK ....... so in ah huff an' ah pufff ...... ah call ..... an' ah get de usual recording crap ...... so ah select a number ...... which turned out tuh be de wrong number ..... so ah call back ...... an' ah select another number ..... an' ah end up gettin ah sweet little girl named Obamaika (name changed to protect her real identity) ...... so anyway ...... ah tell Obamaika dat ah want tuh cancel meh BLINK ....... and dat ah want tuh know de procedure ...... so she ask meh fuh de telephone number .... and begins tuh search de system .... to determine what kind of contract I have ...... cuz depending on the type ...... its different percentages of the cost ....... dat ah will have tuh pay (as de penalty) fuh cancellin before time ....... anyway ....... my gyul couldn't find no contract fuh me ....... so she determined that I can simply cancel without any penalty fees ......
Now before gettin BLINK ....... I used to have DSL ....... and when BLINK came on de scene ..... I called TSTT to request it ....... and I was told that all DSL customers would automatically be transferred to BLINK ...... so I guess that's why I didn't actually have ah BLINK contract ......
So anyway ...... de gyul wasn't de least bit phased ....... dat I wanted tuh cancel my BLINK tuh go tuh FLOW ...... cuz ah tell her dat yuh know ...... ah tell her dat ah like ah fish outta water ....... ah tell her dat ah does LIVE on de internet ...... and dat TSTT suckin de life outta meh ...... ah tell her dat ah like ah drug addict goin tru withdrawal ...... ah tell her all kyna ting ...... and de gyul only giggling ...... you know when I done rant ...... hear what Obamaika go tell me ...... "Oh gosh yuh real make meh laugh fuh de day" ....... like I muzbe some kinda comedian ..... ah say ....... "Gyul, ting I want tuh cry for - you laughin" ....... well dat just make her laugh more ..... den she say ....... "Hear what, yuh want meh tuh transfer yuh tuh de section who could troubleshoot de problem?" ...... so I say ....... "NAH - AH CYAH TAKE TUH TALK TUH DEM INDIANS RIGHT NOW!" (cuz that section is outsourced to an Indian company) ..... to which missy promptly replied ...... "DOH WORRY YUH MIGHT GET AH NEGRO" ....... LOL ....... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?????? ...... well I buss out laughin ..... ah say ...... "WHA - ah might get ah negro????" ....... she say ....... "YEAH AH MEAN AH LOCAL!" ......
So people ...... I learned today ...... that if you call TSTT's internet help desk ....... you can now get to speak with an Indian (from India) ...... or a Negro (from Trinidad) ......

When ah realise now ..... dat cancellin meh TSTT internet was so easy ...... ah call FLOW one time .......
Steups ...... FLOW have one long ass story dat yuh have tuh sit tru ..... before yuh could press '0' ..... tuh get ah customer care person ...... so I impatiently sit tru de crap ..... press 0 ..... and a female voice comes on ..... so I tell her that I'm calling to get their internet rates ...... to which she promptly replies ...... that she's transferring me to the relevant department blah, blah, blah ..... well ....... let's just say ...... she was the last human I spoke with at FLOW .......
For 5 minutes straight ..... I was on hold ...... an' ah know is 5 minutes ....... cuz bad mind make meh stay on de phone ..... tuh see how long dey go take tuh answer ..... well ...... on de 5th minute ...... I end up hangin up ..... after gettin brain freeze from ...... hearin de followin like ah hundred times (wit lil interjections of some kinda Chuck Mangione music) .....

Watch how you dissing de BLINKing Internet.
In the 3 weeks I was in Trinidad, doh mind a nearly dead (and it could still happen), BLINK was installed at my mother's home.
I had an occasion to change the outlet that the ADSL modem was plugged into and of course when ah unplug it, the damn thing went dead.
Call up the help number (824- something, I think) and within 2 mins I was on to a help desk person, a real person.
Maybe they know I was a foreigner and so I get better treatment? Anyway, problem was sorted out in a day, since I had to go out and wasn't able to troubleshoot at the time.
Point is, service was quite the opposite of what you described.

TSTT - gyul yuh ain't de only one fedup wit dem nah....every day fuh de last week is a different story........no internet, half internet...........Punjab helpin yuh fix dat.......BUH Wednesday mornin ah get up meh phone one way, Wednesday afternoon it two way aka wukkin........Thursday okay....so Friday ah get up tuh make some business call...........open line...no dial tone...so ah call dem to make ah report...long story on de recording, yadda yadda ....surprisingly ah didn't wait long...........den ah young man tells me dat dey havin a problem along de East West corridor and also Diego Martin and dat dey wuukin on it..........TSTT AH WANT A REBATE!!!!!

I forgot to mention that Flow has no customer service but I never had to call them since last year...sometime. I did have to fight with them initially but fighting to get what you pay for is normal in TnT
Once you can make people laugh you can get them do anything, except in TSTT

I had real hell with my Blink this July past. It took me 2.5 half months to get back service. Like you I was very effin frustrated until I went in person to Park Street Branch. I made a complaint in person and got to speak to the supervisor, Mr Sankar.
This guy singlehandedly changed my mind about TSTT customer service. It took another 3 weeks but he was in contact throughout and though he had to chase other departments, he got the problem solved and rebated my "downtime" also.
Strongly recommend you go in person to Park Street.

I did exactly that on Friday .... in the height of my frustration ...... and if I understand their rates correctly ..... I believe I'm now paying $384 (BLINK) .... for their $189 package ..... which is a huge difference!
But ....... yuh know how de ting does go ..... coincidentally ...... de very nex day ...... meh internet was back ...... so ah kinda sorfen up lil bit now ......
