It wasn't my intention tuh log orn here today eh ...... cuz I know ..... I done bless up everybody wit LOVE since yesterday ..... but ...... due tuh circumstances beyond my control (i.e. crap in de papers) ...... ah jus had tuh tief ah lil two minutes ..... tuh talk ah lil shit before meh day start! 
Ever since I could remember ...... Valentine's Day was always ah day ..... dat would pass me straight ...... an' is no scene really ..... cuz I know at least my mummy and my daddy love me ...... an' is not no jealously vibes dat I on today either ..... when ah say ...... dat ah need dat explain tuh meh ..... yes ..... dat jokiness below .....
Now picture dis ..... yuh havin yuh mornin coffee ..... flippin tru de papers ...... an' braps ...... yuh reach two full pages of LOVE greetings ...... what do you do ...... do you turn de page quick (cuz yuh very well know dat yuh name eh dey) ...... do you read dem (tuh see if maybe yuh name dere dis year) ...... or do you do like me ...... an' continue drinkin yuh coffee in bewilderment ..... wonderin who de arse will know yuh put ah greetin dey fuh dem ...... in dat mass sea of love ..... in de papers (of all places)!!! ..... is it dat de people who does pay fuh dem 'papers greetings' .... does tell de person dey 'lovin' ..... so dat de person could at least buy de papers dat day ..... cuz ah doh understand ..... ah doh understand deh whole concept ..... down tuh pictures an' all some people put ..... and if yuh see some of de pet names ...... an' de corny love poems!!!
Anyway ..... my name was nowhere to be found (surprise!) ...... but who knows ..... your luck might be different ..... so go out an' buy ah Newsday an' ah Guardian NOW! (salt in de Express - dem eh have no love dis year) ...... cuz guess what ...... someone may be sending you love ..... an' yuh doh even know!!!

I feel the same way, the day in itself is rather insignificant. But the candy manufacturers and other industries love it because it generates lots of money. I rather hear a few caring words in between and not on that day.And I sure hate those crappy Hallmark cards. Now those Ads are funny, wonder how many women put their uncaring man up to do that? Don't worry about not finding your name on the list. You sure stalker has your name??
Oh, and have a great Valentines Day, I have to say mine did not turn out to be that bad after all.
