Ah end up in ah lil traffic today ...... on de Avenue ...... at about 12:30 pm ....... moving traffic tho (not like Thursday's pressure cooker kind) ..... an' ah couldn't help but notice ..... de general calmness ..... yeah ..... cuz fuh a place dat is considered tuh be ..... one of de main Carnival veins in the city ..... twas ah real mellow vibes ..... big Carnival Saturday!!! ..... anyway ....... yuh know me ...... I jus love tuh pull out my camera in traffic ....... so of course I took a few ..... tuh capture de calm .... before de storm ...... an' I eh mean dat in de figurative sense eh ...... ah mean it literally ..... cuz ah hear de weatherman say ..... dat we suppose tuh have rain dis Carnival ...... so ...... until de nex one ...... pump up on dat Vitamin C ..... try not tuh get wet ..... ENJOY de Carnival ..... and most importantly ...... BE SAFE!

Thanks Chica ..... yuh know what so funny tho ...... last nite on Ariapita Avenue was a totally different story eh ..... a friend of mine went ..... just tuh get out de house (as is Carnival) ..... an' he say was real people all over de place ..... doin de same ting ..... which is ...... jus jibbin on de pavement an' ting ......
.... and yeah ...... fuh de sake of masqueraders (wit dey tons of feathers) ...... ah really hope de weatherman WRONG (as he usually is) ..... but as I type ..... it rainin in Diego .... so we'll see what happens tomorrow ..... cuz yuh know we like tuh feel dat God is Trini!

I sure hope the weatherman is wrong too, but I think even if he's not, people will still have a good time.

Yuh know in all mih early years of Carnival in T&T ah cyar remember rain at all? Ah hope it hold orf until after Carnival fuh ah real 'Cool Dong Ash Wednesday'.
Ah watch de Panorama on streaming CTNTWorld larse night, man dat was sweet pan. Ah agree wid de judges on de top two buh ah would ah give Despers #3.
Boy dat is traffic fuh so in Woodbrook ent? And as fuh dem dorgs? I walking de street and see dem and I eh just crossing de road nah is ah next street I taking. Just watching dem ah tinking dey looking at me and saying, "yeah leh we go an bite he in he backside", making de hair on de back ah mih neck stand up straight straight.
Scene, and de rest ah allyuh in Triniland, be safe fuh de Carnival and have ah GREAT time wukking up allyuh waist while I go be only wukking.
