So de Carnival come and gorn ..... jus so ...... everyting done ..... an' Zee gyul ..... ah really eh play mas nah ..... altho on Ash Wednesday ..... when ah found out dat is ah BRAZILIAN MACAW costume ..... dat meh fren had fuh meh (FREE) ...... ah wanted tuh bawl ..... cuz I loved that costume ..... but like it really wasn't meant tuh be ..... cuz my whole scene was dis ...... he call me from abroad (bout 2 weeks before Carnival) ..... tuh offer meh de costume ...... an' ah tell him straight out ..... dat ah not interested in playin mas ...... den he kyna try tuh twiss meh arm ...... an' ah tell him dat Tribe costumes like cocaine ..... an' dat it have real pipers does want dem ...... an' dat he eh go have no problem sellin it ...... den ..... de day after de phone call now ...... ah ketch mehself ...... an' ah sen him ah email tuh find out de section ...... cuz Scene eh playin in no shit costume (even if it free) ...... but ..... my boy never reply ..... so I say he done wit me ..... an' dat was dat ..... but Friday now ..... we limin ..... and he start tuh relate de story tuh de lime ...... in ah kyna way like ..... imagine I offer dis gyul ah free costume an' she refuse ..... tuh which they all gasped in horror ..... but ...... whatever ...... c'est la vie ...... Carnival go come again (and so would more freeness

I was home both days (like ah couch potato) ...... my last soiree was Lara fete on Carnival Sunday ...... which was FAB as usual ...... real ting tuh eat (food, dessert, ice cream - all kyna ting!) ....... real drinks (anyting) ....... real celebs (de Yorkes and de Latapys and de dotish Govt Ministers etc. etc.) ...... real hotties (like me) ..... real nice man (ah pick up 3 foreigners!) ..... real borse toilets ...... oh gorm dem Andy Loos toilets ...... every time dat I am privileged tuh pee in one ah dem ting ...... ah does have tuh mention it ...... and de decor ..... always tops .... cuz hear nah ..... Mr. Lara doh jus invite yuh into he yard eh ..... he does have actual structures designed (by an Architect) and built ..... so its like a real Carnival city when yuh walk eeen de venue ..... oh and he had de lil Satchmo's replica this year again ..... then there's the music ..... Destra was real good ..... that was the first time fuh de season ..... dat I actually took in her performance ...... Machel was good too (ah doh tink he misbehave) ..... and he even had Beenie Man in his set ..... tings was so nice ..... dat we were even blessed by ah lil rain here an' there ..... but nuttin tuh sen people wit weave runnin ...... I stay til be party done, done, done ..... an' den ah end up droppin one of Lara Bajan Chefs back tuh he hotel (de Hyatt) ...... which is ah whole odda long story ..... den when ah was goin home ...... if you see traffic heading outta Diego ....... CURRENT WENT ..... yes ...... blackout in de West on Thursday ...... it went fuh about half hour ..... from about 8:45 pm ..... tuh about 9:15 pm ...... oh and dat reminds me ..... water went too ....... on Carnival Monday ....... den on Friday ..... ah went Movie Towne (wit meh same foreign fren) ...... me, he and two girlfrens went tuh see ...... He's just not that into you ...... and HELLO ...... I didn't have tuh spend no $40 tuh see dat shit ...... cuz everyting in dat movie ...... us chicks done know ahready ...... it was hilarious tho ...... and fuh one reason only ...... i.e. how real it is ...... I saw myself in it ...... and I also saw some guys I've encountered in my lifetime ...... So anyway ..... apparently de man didn't bathe before goin ...... and decide tuh take ah lil bath when he reach ..... only tuh be stung by a snake ...... on his big toe ....... now de man didn't know what bite him eh ....... all he know ...... "is dat someting raff he foot an' he kick it away an' he foot start tuh burn like shit" ...... is only upon later examination of his big toe ..... dat he see two fang marks ..... an da'is how he conclude dat it muzbe ah snake dat bite him ..... anyway ..... three injections (of who knows what, cuz apparently de hospital didn't have no anti-venom) ....... and three days later ..... I dont know how I missed that Jolly Roger thing. Wow. Seems that everything that younger Warner touches like it blight! seems that the folks who just cleaned up the beaches at Chaguamaras have to go back and clean up a big, stinkin boat from those waters!

For me, Carnival is digital photos and that would be my legacy. I see people jumping and having a good time in both Macaw costumes and bikinis and wonder how they could do without a camera. I guess, to each her own.
