Now ah tort long and hard .... about whether tuh crap on dis one eh ..... cuz ah doh really like tuh crap on individuals ..... especially if is ting like ah artiste tryin tuh get his shit out dere ..... but ..... yuh know what ...... once yuh reach somewhere public ..... like de newspapers ..... yuh is fair game ...... yuh cyah play mas an' fraid powder!!
So as ah say ..... is since weekend dis ting sittin dong on meh computer ..... and if yuh notice ..... ah referrin tuh it as 'ting' ...... cuz I doh really know what it is ..... ah doh know if is ah ad ...... if is ah article ..... ah doh know ..... anyway ..... it (de ting) was in de Newsday ..... fullin up nearly ah whole quarter page (i.e. there was no missing it) ..... so ...... naturally ..... because it was done in meh eyesight ahready ...... an' it have picture an' ting ...... ah decide tuh read it ...... but when ah done read it now ...... is like ah was more confuse ...... cuz WOW ..... the wording, the phrasing, the content, the grammar, the punctuation, the needless capital letters!!!
So it start off by sayin ..... dat de man is ah Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist (full stop) ...... (real name) known as JUST HIM??? ...... an' dat he releasin his 4th major CD album??? ..... den ah kyna jokey phrase appears ..... 'but yet the best' ..... makin yuh feel dat dat is de name of de CD ..... but no ...... de actual name of de CD ..... is revealed right after ...... in yet another bizarre phrase ..... so it muzbe dis 4th CD ..... dat is 'but yet the best' ..... then a slew of unnecessary capital letters appear ...... among some weird words like 'whom' (Wha?) ..... and 'part taken' (aka partaken) ...... and 'renown' (Eh?) ..... and 'song writer' (one word) ..... den what de heck does 'the album future' mean ...... and what's wit de ..... "Six Hits in one album is considered to be one of the best done by any Trinidad born" ..... what six hits ...... does anybody know ...... cuz none ah dem ..... ever hit me ..... whey dey playin ..... wha station ...... wha channel ...... wha website ...... wha planet?!
An' wait ..... halfway dong de ting ..... in de midst of more odd capital letters ...... and wack sentences ...... and weird punctuation ...... and fluorescent green verbs ...... de man name JUST change! ...... yes ..... from JUST HIM .... tuh ...... JUST JIM!
But back tuh de content ...... cuz I still cyah figure out too ..... what kyna CD it is ..... is it Country Music ...... after all it WAS recorded in Nashville, Tennessee ....... or is it a Gospel CD ...... cuz de man like he flip de scrip midway ..... an' start tuh talk about how de lyrics is based on love and faith and forgiveness an' ting .... and den he proceed tuh explaciate (not ah word) about his religious beliefs ..... Huh??!!
Now my whole scene is dis ...... this is an ad about ONE person (not ah company) ..... where said ONE person tryin tuh market his new CD ..... which happens tuh be his 4th CD ...... so he eh no beginner ..... he's ah veteran ..... and fuh his lil advertisin campaign ...... he have enuff 'ad' money ..... where he doh have tuh resort tuh de classifieds ..... an' he could put out ah big nice ad (altho black and white) ..... an' dat is de shit he go come up wit!?!! ..... if I puttin ME out dey ..... I want tuh see it first ...... I want tuh read it (wit de finest tooth comb ah could find) ...... I want tuh make sure dat de ting makin sense ..... an' if ah eh too sure bout sumtin ..... ah gettin ah second proofreader ...... cuz is MY name (not ah company) ..... it representin ME!!!
Quite frankly ..... I doh tink anybody gonna want tuh buy dat CD ...... after readin dat crap?! ..... cuz if it is ..... that that is de mess ..... dat was made of one simple ad ..... den ah could just imagine what de actual lyrics of de songs muzbe like?! ..... actually ...... comin tuh tink of it ...... I can't ..... and that is precisely the sad thing about the ad ...... it made me not want to imagine or experience Just Jim's music (at all)!!!
Anyway ...... da'is Just Me ...... everybody different ...... so if yuh eh really care bout dem kyna ting ...... Just Him or Just Jim ...... spare ah lil pocket change ..... an' Just buy de CD ..... support ah local artiste!

Lawd Have mercy! I almost peed in my pants reading that. I wonder if the person who wrote the unique review was on weed or made the mistake and listened to the CD before writing all that. My guess is that he or she is not a fan.
Who's gonna buy the CD after they read that????
I think "Just Him" has a good case against the paper if he does not sell just one CD.

Scn if you think this was a hilarious write up you shoulda read the full page guardian ad of winsie ann cuffie THE RECORDING ARTIST. Not only has she been to guyana, canada and new york singing her gospel with her unique voice she also recorded her album at SONY recording studios in New York.
It was nepotism at it's best
Oh and her father also added that she was the valedictorian of her school which is guess what?? His school!

Why? This girl is begging for someone to take up the cause of exposing her and her father's real agenda. Using Christianity to promote 'a career' and then trying to make it seem like its all about God (but failing miserably) is making Christianity look like a joke. Anybody could record a song and burn a CD these days. If someone records a CD in an outhouse in Nashville, Tennessee and that outhouse is owned by someone called Patrick Holt then the description of Just Him's album would be correct. Maybe bandi could put up a track or two. jk
I think there is a high percentage of newspaper ads taken out by delusional or not too sane people. Some of them are even taken out by the Government but that is another topic. The good news about the CD is that Him did not say if Him was selling it so I guess Him's CD is not for sale. Maybe it is free.
There is probably a big market for South and Central American hair dressers with Qualifications and 5 years Experience. So as not to discriminate, the ad did not say anything about age and sex.

apart from all of those grammatical errors I am pleased that Jim or Him has realized that "It Is Never Too Late". I pray that his album is successful. He sounds confused as to not believe in Religion but has Faith in the Lord.
