Last nite ah went tuh drop ah fren down by de Hyatt ...... and while cruisin down de Foreshore ....... man spray-paintin dem concrete barriers on de highway ....... in de nite eh ....... bout 10:15 pm ....... man spray-paintin concrete!!!
Took this last nite ..... yuh see dat red light runnin' down de right side of de
Hyatt ...... it does change colour ...... yeah ..... all kyna cool colours ..... and
oh ..... de beauty on de left ..... is dat Govt building (I think) dat does look
aquamarine by day ......
Den today ah had tuh go Grand Bazaar .... an' yuh know what dat could be like ...... so of course when ah jump eeeen meh car ...... ah turn up de radio ....... an' ah psyche up mehself fuh de frustration ahead ....... well ..... tuh my surprise ....... it was one of the most pleasant trips tuh de East ....... NO TRAFFIC ...... an' dat was at about 1 o'clock eh ...... I reach up de road ..... in no time at all ....... and in ah good mood too ......

Hey 'Scene, that's a real nice shot of the poui in bloom, thanks. I had a few trees in my backyard growing up, and I loved watching them from the hammock swinging in the back 'verandah'.

De only one I did really like was the one that started the trend : Kanhaiya by Anand Yankaran about 2 decades ago. Oddly enough, not many people know this is actually a religious song in praise of Lord Krishna, so you should see the kinda dance that does come out when it's played.

..... can't say I've ever noticed pigeon peas flowers ..... will definitely try tuh check it out tho ...... cuz a friend of mine grows pigeon peas in his yard ...... de odda day ah went by him ...... and on de kitchen table was one big bowl of pigeon peas tuh 'shell' ..... it so reminded me of back in de day ..... when I used to live on de same compound as my grandparents ..... who ...... every Saturday ...... would go tuh de market ..... and come home wit pigeon peas (among other things) ..... and den they would chain up me an' meh sister ...... tuh shell dem ..... and altho dat was donkey years ago ...... it's still a vivid childhood memory ...... worms and all!

Scene that alarm chirp ting doh sound right. I mistakenly switch off my chirp alot of the time and call this alarm guy friend of mine and he tells me how to switch it back on. Its some combination of lock/unlock with the door open/close or something so. I wish i had more info but I don't believe they try to charge you money for that. He always tells me I put it in 'valet mode'.

..... and de long story is ..... when my car went for a service last year ...... it came back 'chirpless' ...... but I eh dig nuttin ..... ah say ah go let dem handle it ...... on de next service ..... which was about two weeks ago ...... turns out ..... de problem was not dat 'combination' ting ..... so I was advised tuh bring back de car ..... any Wednesday between 1-3 pm ..... as that is the only day/time ..... dat dey Alarm Man does work ...... so ..... dat is how I end up in Toyota dat Wednesday ...... only tuh be told by de Alarm Man himself ....... dat de siren ting need changin ...... but whatever yes ...... at least de alarm workin ..... which is far more important dan it 'chirpin' ...... thanks fuh de info .....

But I've been on the scene for a while now, I just post as a couple different names and can never remember the last name I used nah
I could beat you back on that alarm thing though. Toyota never gave me a second remote and used to tell me to come for one on a wednesday from 1-3. But in silent protest at their inconveniencing me, i never went. Until the day the one I had stop working and I couldn't get into my car, and it wasn't that it needed a battery and I had to call and harass them and like they get irritated with me and give me the 1-3 on a Wednesday man number. And then like he get tired of me harassing him that day and tell me where to find him. Needless to say I learn plenty bout alarms that day because I spend musse 2 hours on a dirt road in el socorro with he and eventually about 3 other man trying to figure out why the alarm wasn't working. Come to find out that if you have a remote for your gate and the remote button mistakenly pressed down in your elbow rest, it could mess up the frequency of your alarm
