Why pray tell ...... would the powers dat be ..... put the most cruicial do-or-die World Cup Qualifier ..... tuh play in TOBAGO?! ..... and doh get meh wrong eh .... is not dat ah have anyting against Tobago ...... is jus dat ..... logic would dictate ..... dat such ah big match .... would be held in ah BIG venue ..... and not ah venue dat could only hold about 7500 people ......dis match woulda been ah sure money-maker ..... cuz obviously EVERYBODY want tuh go ..... I hear it sell out ahready (duh - surprise - cuz is ah small-ass venue!) ..... and how come dem covered is only $400 ...... and when it in Trinidad is bout $600 ..... and what's up wit de NO LIVE TV BROADCAST .... wham tuh we in Trini??????

I go have tuh disagree wid yuh on dis one, de football match ah meaning. I say is about time de Tobago part of de 'Trinidad AND Tobago' get in de spotlight. Besides I tink King Warner done cover or promise tuh cover de difference between what dey would ah make at de gate eef de game was in the 'Trinidad' part of Trinidad and (when we remember) Tobago.

scene last time i passed by the Hasley Crawford there was no roof on the Covered Stands... I think they doing some work and yuh know in T&T it never sure to be completed in time... cause FIFA doh stick...

I DID notice work being done on de Stadium ...... but dat was weeks ago ...... anyway ...... it would really have tuh be someting major like renovations ...... tuh cause de football tuh head tuh Tobago ...... cuz I doh tink dat ah sure money opportunity would be sacrificed jus so ...... jus tuh go de 'oh leh we give Tobago ah bligh' route ......

you wonderin? ..... I know that that is what dey tryin tuh say!! ...... but den again ...... it is an authentic chinese restaurant ..... so maybe in chinese ...... 'a la carte' is pronounced 'alacat' and hence spelt dat way ......

"Alacat" must be Chinese for a la carte but since I have no Chinese blood in me, I just speculatin'. I just wonder now what the cat population like around that restaurant... you know, like the dog population in Grande .
Money wise, it make more sense fuh the match to be in Trinidad but I ent go grudge Tobago a lil chance like this... I feel, 'Scene dat yuh lil vex because yuh cyah get in with the same ease... (^_^)
It kinda unfair that it not on TV tho, I mean, trini patriotism rises to the fore wid football. Yuh cyah get dem to unite against crime, corruption, bad health care, duncey bullying and execution, or anything else, but yuh could get the whole country tuh unite over football. Hmm, a political screwup in setting the match in Tobago?

If it's authentic Chinese then it's "a la cat." But isn't "a la cat" catering more for men than women? Just some thoughts.
People travel to far off lands to see soca warriors get beat, and getting to Tobago is like how going to South from North used to be before the Interchange

My take on the whole thing is that Jack decided we don't have a prayer to qualify. I hope I'm wrong, but I think once the final whistle went in the last match, he saw an opportunity to:
1) Hire a manager who was loved yet inexperienced
2) Score some points in the sister isle
