PEAKES .... get yuh act together nah!
Now I didn't really plan tuh blog today eh ...... but den ah see dat jokey Bird Singing ad ..... and den someting happen ...... dat get meh lil piss ...... so ah say leh meh make ah tack back ...... an' beat de iron while it still hot!!
Today I went Peakes ...... tuh wash my car ...... and after lining up fuh nearly ah whole so-an-so hour ..... I end up gettin ah CAR RINSE!!!
Yes ..... a car sprinkle actually ..... cuz guess what ..... de ting eh workin!!! .... all dat happenin .... is dat after yuh punch in de code ..... de green light comin on fuh yuh tuh proceed ...... den de red light comin on fuh yuh tuh stop ...... den de big machine ting sprayin yuh car wit reclaimed water * ...... full all of 2 seconds ...... den it stops ..... and den de green light comin back on fuh yuh tuh get out!!! ...... wit yuh car still wet ..... lookin like is sweat!!!
* Look de sign ....... they operate with a Filtered Reclaimed Water System ...... whatever dat mean!
Now as you know ..... meh car wash man get ban from coming back on de compound where I live ..... so since muzbe some time last year ..... I does be real stressin tuh get my car wash ...... as a matter of fact ...... truth be told ...... is two cars I does have tuh get wash ....... so whenever yuh see I crappin on car worries i.e. Toyota and Gas and Car Wash ...... is not because I like tuh crap and quarrel ..... is because ah getting screw ...... twice!!!
April 4 was my car wash day ..... cuz I decide ..... dat drought or no drought ...... I washin my car at least once ah month ...... altho before ...... it used tuh get wash every week ..... but den again da'is because de price was right ($15) ...... PEAKES is double de pain ($30 and $35) ...... I cyah afford dat weekly ..... so right ...... as ah was sayin ...... last Sunday ...... ah went down PEAKES ...... an' ah buy two car wash tickets ....... ah stay (in ah long-ass line) an' wash de car one time ...... and after dat ...... ah went back wit de next one ..... but by dat time ..... me eh know if people was now coming back from de beach or wherever ...... de line had get crazy mad ...... so I jus make an about turn ..... and I went back home .......
I then visited PEAKES at least five more times ...... attempting to wash de next car ....... but fuh some strange reason (maybe WASA and dey 'conserve warter' scene) ....... every time I went back ...... de line was CRAZY!!! ...... cuz it seems like all of ah sudden ....... everybody washing dey car in CAR WASH now .......
So anyway ...... I eh dig nuttin ...... cuz de ticket was valid til April 18 ...... so today now ...... being ah kyna off day fuh me ...... ah say leh meh tackle de next car once and for all ...... so ah call up ah fren tuh make de turn wit meh ...... cuz oh ...... that's the next thing ...... I can't go to that Car Wash by myself ..... cuz I hate it ..... it makes me nauseous ..... so ah call up fren ..... and he say cool no scene ..... so ah organise mehself ...... and ...... anticipating yet another long-ass line ...... ah pack up some craft tuh kill de time (I make jewellery) ...... an' ah went and pick up fren .....
So we reach PEAKES ..... and as usual ..... de gas tank dry ...... so ah tell fren leh we put ah lil $40 gas ..... an' head tuh de Car Wash line one time ..... now mind you ....... the line was no better today eh ...... there were about 7 cars ahead of me ...... but ah couldn't come back again fuh ah 6th or 7th time ...... so we went in de line ...... needless tuh say ...... by de time we turn reach ...... I done make two side ah earring ahready!!! ...... and de $40 gas done dry up!!!
Right ..... so as ah mentioned before ...... we punch eeen de code ...... an' we drive eeen ...... well de car jus get wet dong ...... and then we were signalled (by the green light) ...... TO GO ..... as in get out tuh make way fuh another car ..... so of course ...... I tell fren I hadda get back my money ...... so he pull up alongside de Quik Shop (in de 'sweaty' car 
) ...... and went inside fuh de refund ...... while I in de car waitin now ...... I spot a man in ah red monkey suit crossin de driveway ..... so ah call out tuh him ..... an' ah ask him if he working dey ...... he say YES ...... so ah tell him dat de Car Wash eh workin ..... an' dat he need tuh inform the 7 or 8 people dat still in de line ....... well I doh know if is Spanish he was hearin ...... cuz de man jus watch me an start tuh smile ..... an' tellin me dat de craft I doin dey lookin real nice ..... Grrrrrrr ...... no worries dat de ting eh workin eh ...... he jus cool ......
Anyway .... so same time I tryin tuh get tru tuh dumbo ..... fren comes back to de car ..... and hands me my money ..... he say when he tell de Cashier what happened ..... de Cashier promptly gave him back de money ..... while mumbling under his breath ..... "DEY NEED TUH SHUT DOWN DAT CAR WASH - DAT TING REAL ANNOYING ME NOW!!"
So guess what dat mean ..... dem people in PEAKES know dat de damn Car Wash givin trouble ..... and dey still selling ticket fuh it ..... and dey still letting people line up fuh hours ..... waiting fuh NORT!!! ..... and den when people complain ..... dey jus givin people back dey money ..... but oh shit man ..... wha bout people time!!!
Steups ..... fren say he go wash de car fuh meh tomorrow .....
PS: ..... it wasn't working on April 4 either (that's the first day I went) ..... nothing was working .... not even the box tuh enter de code ...... dey had tuh reset it or sumtin ...... and then it started working ...... so like it lil overworked these days .... and like it giving trouble long time now!

Well I eh have much sympathy fuh yuh plight. Why ppl doh wash dey own car dong on dee Rock - I doh know. You was'e how much time pursuing dis crap. I doz wash meh own car up here in Englan' in dee peak of winter.
Car-washing is good exercise and doing it right saves on water compared to deese mechanised car washes.. not to mention it saves on buildin' dem kinda presshahh you had.. not good fuh dee health man. Nex' ting you dee ketch a stroke and drop dong dead now. Not a joke eh - a frend o' mind dead jes so. She boss diss she up.. she gorn into a rage and den ketch a stroke and dead.

..... an' is not dat ah doh want tuh wash meh car yuh know ..... de problem is ...... I am not physically able ...... cuz Iz ah smallie ..... and my car is ah biggie ..... den ..... on top ah dat ....... ah sure you does wash your car wit a hose ..... wit nice powerful water ...... well we cyah do dat here ..... we hadda use bucket ...... so even if ah coulda reach properly tuh wash de whole car ..... I still eh tink I woulda do it ..... cuz dat bucket scene ..... is real stress!!!

First, I use to real laugh when I roll into Unipet and see that long ass line ON TOP OF knowing that the washing price was ridiculous AND the fact that man hadda wipe they own car down after they went through.
Second, Ms. Scene..not because you is a smallie and have a big ride mean you not physically able eh cause I use to have to stretch with meh 5'3 self to reach the top of my SUV (while standing on the ledge thing/half way on the seat). I will however accept the the hose story.
Third, them fellas by...well i don't remember the square's name but opposite Sacred Heart Girls and near to Trini Flava restaurant and the gas station dey on Tragerete Road does charge about $20-25 (unless of course recession hit them too) and they using bucket water and doing a damn good job. I also pleased with their work. They will also clean the inside for a lil extra.
When I moved to Tunapuna tho, that was the best. My local car wash man was only two houses away.

..... I used tuh open de doors and stand up in de car itself (tuh reach de top) ...... an' ah time ah even use ah ladder ..... an' nearly break meh ass ..... I was all fuh keepin my money in my pocket ..... and cleanin my car myself ..... cuz yuh know nobody does clean your shit like you will ...... but is too much ..... one bad enough ..... ah really cyah make tuh do dat by two ......

Never used that car wash because everytime I go there to put gas, the line does be too long. I will either get my car washed at work (but, since de water scene start, the guy ent coming back) or, wash it home *whispering, de huzzy does wash it fuh meh*
Har nah Scene, yuh does sell your craft or is just ah hobby? Daiz ah serious question eh

I have not commented for a looonnnnnnggg time ..buh gyul YOU could buy pressure wholesale. TAke yuh car to the Auto Spot on Mucurapo Road. They does do a damn good job - inside and out. Besides those mechanical car washes do considerable damage to yuh paint job (do some research)and eventually yuh will be spending a lot more especially seeing that you still feel you have to take your car by tiefin Toyota when they have reputable shops that have certified technicians and charge much less for labour.They also pick up and deliver your car to your home or office.How many years ah tellin yuh dis?! Continue stressing. Look like yuh like it.

yeah ..... they always had a Car Wash at the Gas Station ...... but I doh tink anybody ever really used tuh use it ...... it only now blowin up de spot ...... since our lack of water stories ...... which is kinda ironic ...... cuz a Car Wash definitely uses a lot of water ..... but den again ..... dey say is reclaimed water ...... which I guess is water we couldn't use otherwise anyway ......

Scene, the rain started today so hopefully you wouldn't have to depend on these pipers called Peak. I rather give my money to the small car wash people who generally give good value for money but you only have to know who to trust.

cuz after readin splitsun's comment ...... I remember it had a time ...... a friend of mine took his car there tuh wash and cleanout ...... and they went joyriding in de man car ..... an' crash it .......
so yuh see me ...... fuh now ..... I tink I go let de rain wash my car ...... cuz WOW ..... dat was some shower jus now ...... it look like de rain start fuh tru!

Dat reel near tuh me but ah doh appreciate stress and ah doh have money to thro way when ah have to repair car and paint job after these "fancy"car washes finish wit yuh car.But ah finally realise yuh lik stress so keep going to Peake's....

Girl, it doe matter how hard the rain fall, it jus rearrange the dirt on de car
The guy who wash my car likes 93.5 on the radio and that is ok with me. But most times since WASA claim to be ticketing people for washing cars with hoses I washing the car for myself early in the morning every other week. So far so good.
