Some day dis week .... Underground Trini Artiste wrote a piece on Elections Songs ..... and whether or not they influence your vote ..... and fuh me ..... de answer tuh dat was ...... enn ... oohh ..... NO ...... cuz as I commented on his blog ..... I think those songs IRRITATE more than influence!
Case in point ..... today ..... from about 4:00 pm ..... me ..... and all and sundry in my lil community ..... had tuh endure a most annoying Rocky party ...... yes ..... Rocky load up about 3 trucks a la dem Carnival Big Trucks ..... wit ah setta music blastin from it ...... and had dem drivin around de neighbourhood ..... wit motorcade and people wit flag an' ting ..... a la Carnival ..... it was a mess!!! ...... cuz all de trucks was playin different songs ..... all at de same time ..... de only good news ..... is dat Rocky have ah new song ..... tank de lord ..... check it out ......
De bacchanal was too far away fuh meh tuh capture wit meh lil point and shoot ..... but at least yuh could hear de hotttt new song .....
One of his music pick-ups even reach up on my compound where I livin ...... could you believe ..... I doh know what dey was doin ..... like de sound system shut down .... and dey was fixin it .... cuz about 2 minutes after I notice dat dey was parked right next to my car?! ..... de music suddenly blasted out of de speakers .....
...... then they jumped back into the pick-up ..... and drove away!
Reminded me of de time when de horses pass tru!
PS: ..... up tuh about 20 minutes ago ..... de bacchanal was still goin orn down de road somewhere! ..... steups ...... Rocky really pusin we tuh dip we finger fuh Keith Rowley!

You mean you miss the Keithos motorcade? Yuh ent hear, "Rowley, is the man for we, he is the only man we need, Rowley is the man indeed"? That was whole of last weekend, it had so many people with red shirt on canvassing the neighbourhood I almost say we get invaded by Cuba! I counting down the days until this stupidness done.
