Teacher needed ... URGENTLY!
I get ah email de odda day ..... from one of meh readers ..... who by de way ..... is also a blogger 
Now all he really say in de email is ...... Scene, look at dat OFFICIAL document tellin yuh how tuh become ah Teacher in Trinidad - look how dey spell de word PRIMARY!
So I open de file ..... an' zoom eeeeeen ..... only tuh see de word PRIMARY spell wit ah curious T at de end!!!
Now I wasn't too surprised eh ..... cuz is like everywhere yuh turn in dis country ..... SOMETING wrong!!!
So ah reply tuh de email ..... expressing my appalled-ness .... and I moved on ....
A A .... a few hours later now ..... I dey cleanin up email ..... when ah bounce up said email again ..... and decide tuh read de document in its entirety before deletin it ..... jus in case ah want tuh be ah Teacher nah!
Well JAH .... is bess ah had delete it an' done ..... cuz if you see shit I see in dat document!! ..... it was so much ..... dat up until ah see de document wit meh own two eye on de website .... ah didn't believe dat it was fuh real ...... but de ting really dere ...... starrin big and boldface in PDF format (so dat nobody cyah make changes tuh it) ..... on de Ministry of EDUCATION website ..... and ..... apparently it dey fuh some years too .... which is even more amazing ..... cuz oh the irony ..... of having a document ...... outlining de requirements tuh be ah Teacher ..... on de EDUCATION Ministry website ..... and said document laced wit ah setta errors!!! ...... an' on top ah dat ...... nobody never see it necessary tuh correct de errors!!!!
Which leads me to question ....
Who goin tuh guard de guards???
OK no ..... da'is not de question ..... de question is ..... who it is teach de Typist dat type dat document ..... and who it is teach (s)he Supervisor .... or de Ministry Proofreader???!!! ..... and who de heck job it is .... tuh ensure that dat kinda shit doh get out?!
Now ah know yuh muzbe feel ah exaggeratin eh ...... so you judge fuh yuhself ...... an' tell meh what yuh tink ..... cuz yes ...... other than being a drama queen sometimes ...... I am also SUPER ANAL ...... so ting dat probably eh go faze you ...... does real peeve me ..... like typos (PRIMARTY) ..... and dotish formatting (like part 'g' not linin up with de ress) ..... and inconsistency (sayin Grade 1 and 2 in one part and Grade 1 and 11 in ah nex part) ..... (or spellin Teacher wit ah capital T in one part an' ah common T in ah nex part)!!!
Anyway ..... nuff said ..... ah sendin out ah SOS ..... Teacher needed urgently .... tuh TEACH (at de Ministry)!!!
PS: ..... dat is their slogan ..... Excellence in Education!?
There is a difference between teaching and administration. The clerk who prepared the letter has probably never seen inside a school.

nah 'scene...that cannot be an official document!! I refuse to believe that...maybe it's part of some exercise where during your application you have to proof read and indicate all the errors in that notice. That is some real messed up nonsense otherwise...and would explain some of the teachers now educating the younger generation.

No justification of margins either... but Scene... you have to expect that kinda thing when they willing to accept BASIC level pass as well for TEACHERS!! And if a pass at basic level (which is what you do when your teacher doesn't think you have what it takes to pass at GENERAL level!!) is acceptable to teach, then the people who are not teaching could get away with maybe 5 'O' levels at grade 5 BASIC level for the jobs like typing documents. Now you know why it's acceptable for them to post that document online!

I far too cynical to accept tings at face value,(no disrespect intended as dat is just me in dis computer age when anyting easy tuh fake,) so ah went and see wid mih own two bad eye. Well I see and I just finish sending CNEWS de link and hope dey go at least look at the document and call de ministry. It eh exactly have de same bacchanal quotient as Manning-gate/Kamla-gate/Spy-gate, buh it still is appalling.
Dat said and done ah still holding out like ah 1 percent hope dat de site geh hacked and somebody do dat tuh de document. My money on Manning.

It is quite embarrassing... but when yuh could teach without a degree in T&T, it speaks for itself.

This does not shock me as the MOE is full of jokers. I once wanted to be a Ministry employed geography teacher....but they told me that I cant because my degree is in Envi Sci. 0_0 That makes no sense to me whatsoever. There phones do not work, they proudly proclaim that they have no envelopes....all kinda foolishness does go on inside ah dey oui
