I watch it in Diego Martin .... in Trinidad .... on my TV .... and it was hard fuh me too .... yeah ..... there was only so much I could take too .... so sorry .... I can't report on Shal's performance .... cuz dat was like intermission fuh me .... I will say however, dat his costuming was lovely .... he went all out .....

Think of a list of American celebrities who got away (and will get away) with bigger crimes than Mr.Carnival's crime and then they move on to keep earning MILLIONS over more years.   Attended for the first time in my life...what an experience, both good and bad things about being there in person. Machels' on stage performance imo was better than Iwer's. The crowd response seemed to be about the same for both of them, so to me Machel's presentation gave him the edge. Love both of them sooo didn't matter either way.

  At de same time results were announced, Machel was done collecting he cheque from Kamla. Like dem results was out since Ramlogan expressed his public support, cuz like I too dotish to understand how a show that is based on crowd response, presentation and originality ended like this.

        Soca doesn't require a degree in Physics, and we've heard all this before just with different beats. If this kinda money is to be paid, the people most deserving of it are the veterans who started it off Tambu with "we eh going home" or Super Blue's hat trick in the 90s.
