I out!
It's been a while .... an' yuh know why ....
Some bizzyness .... mix wit ..... PURE LAZINESS!!!
Actually .... ah not even in Trinidad .... yep .... bright and early Tuesday morning .... I boarded a Caribbean Airlines flight tuh de BIG APPLE .... and hear nah .... up tuh now ah cyah take ah bite yet ..... cuz first tuh begin .... ah doh like apple ..... and Brrrrrrrrr ..... de place blasted cold (it like limin in ah freezer!!!) .... I had no idea that this is what spring is like .... cuz tuh me .... de ting feelin more like winter .... cuz if you see clothes I have tuh wear ..... is no doubt when I walkin de streets .... dat I from foreign ..... and de layers kinda frustratin meh too ..... cuz I accustom tuh bein half-nekkid in hot humid Trini! ..... where on ah normal day ..... I does doh feel tuh get out my bed .... so worse again in dis cole-ass place!!! .... I eh want tuh go nowhere ..... all I want tuh do is drink coffee and cover-up under de nice hot blanket ....
But anyway .... tomorrow ah headin out again .... yeah .... quite tuh de west coast too ..... cuz NY was really ah kyna connectin scene on meh way tuh San Franciso ..... so .... until de next time ah feel tuh logon .... which I'm sure would be some time soon (cuz I never been to Cali) .... is laterz from de Scene in NY 
This was just too cute .... and I loved the touch of bright yellow in the background ....
Also love the brownstone houses .... but what's up wit de flag dat people does put on dey house .... patriotism?
..... and most of de trees still lookin like dat ....

I live right by the lake too...and when the wind pick up a breeze from that lake is cold right down to your bones..No matter how many layers you have on...Just dress warm eh scene and remember your scarf cause you don't want a sore throat in the cold at all..Is the worse..

Scene oy, welcome to my backyard, NYC. This cold you getting now is nothing compared to what we get in the dead of Winter; especially this past winter witth all these blizzards. You came in good time. Now you see why us "fresh warders" will run away to Trinidad for carnival/Christmas/Borough Day/We Beat/Easter/funeral/anybody wedding/baby christening/any damn occasion.

I know; that heat I got for carnival Tuesday was DEADLY. But y'know what, gimme that over blizzards and face-freezing wind chills yes.
