I'm baaack ... kinda!
And dis is how it went down ....
Tuesday April 12 .... I arrived in NY in de afternoon ..... after a long-ass flight (I absolutely hate flying - so tuh me - ALL flights - LONG!) .....
Wednesday April 13 and Thursday April 14 ..... I recovered with some shopping (while freezing my ass off) ..... yeah .... cuz there's nothing like parting with money (dat is 6 tuh 1!!!) tuh make yuh feel better!
Friday April 15 ..... flew to San Francisco ..... arriving some time in de afternoon ..... after an even more long-ass flight .... which sent me 3 hours back in time ..... yep ..... we left NY whatever time .... and when we reach SF .... it was 3 hours earlier .... talk about feelin like ah was in de twilight zone!
Saturday April 16 .... went sightseeing .... Golden Gate Bridge .... The City .... Chinatown (while freezing my ass off even more dan in NY) ....
Sunday April 17 .... was the reason I had to go abroad in de first place ..... my sister's Wedding .... which was awesome .....
Monday April 18 .... was back tuh NY .... LAWD .... another long-ass flight!!!
Tuesday April 19 .... was recovery again .... some last minute shopping ..... and anticipatory packing!
Wednesday April 20 ..... I was BACK HOME!!!!! ..... at 1:00 pm .... in de most stink HEAT!!!!
Yeah ..... I reach back tuh Trini since last week Wednesday .... and up tuh now .... is like ah eh land yet ....
An' I doh know what it is .... I doh know if is jet lag ..... cuz right now .... I still kinda laggin around in ah bubble .....
I eh have ah clue what goin orn in Trini ....
De lass time ah read ah papers was I eh know when .... and de lass time ah watch de news was I eh know when eeeeder ....
Den too .... like ah cyah focus on nuttin .... cuz two days after returning .... BRAPS ..... long weekend .... so it was like still being in 'do nothing' mode .... seriously .... I don't travel well ..... I am so out of it!
Anyway .... there's way too much to write about (regarding my travels) ..... an' ah really cyah make ..... so look some of meh never-see-come-see pics dat ah take in America
This was taken while me and de sis and de parents was chillin at JFK Airport .... waitin tuh board de flight tuh SF .... da'is some kinda touch-screen e-menu ting-a-ma-jig .... dat yuh could play games on too .... yeah .... and da'is said sis givin meh ah lil demo .... cuz she realise dat ah was lil clueless ....
Typical souvenir crap .... tuh take yuh lass bit of US dollars before yuh board yuh plane .....
Dis was on de Delta flight tuh SF .... welcoming me
Lawd ..... after flyin fuh 5 hours ..... we still had more way tuh go .... ah whole 25 mintues more!
FINALLY .... we reach SF ..... we goin' and land soon .....
I have no idea what that bridge is called .... all I know .... is dat it .... real long .... and it look real scary from de air!
Dat is ah big-ass double-decker bus dat was runnin ah tour at de Golden Gate Bridge .... I have no idea why I took a picture of it .....

Ah SF Tramcar .... I didn't actually ride on one .... so the next best thing was taking a picture of one that was next tuh us .....
OH MY GOSH .... de streets in de city are de worse ..... talk about hills and valleys ..... and STEEP!!!!
Chinatown - SF .... yeah it have ah Chinatown in San Franscisco too ....
Now yuh know when dey say DESIGNER PURSE .... what dey really mean right? .....
Uhhh .... NO .... yuh not seein double .... many of the stores sold the same ..... SOUVENIR ..... DESIGNER PURSE .... LUGGAGE ..... and $1 T-SHIRTs ....
Leaving SF .... heading back tuh NY ...
Oh .... and this was on my wonderful Caribbean Airlines flight back tuh Trini .... where ah bounce up some familiar faces .... who handle meh right up!! .... one cup was fuh meh ginger ale .... ah nex cup was fuh meh Hennessy .... and de nex cup was fuh meh wine .... I was high .... and I totally fell asleep during the movie .... but den again .... dat may have been because of de movie .... Gulliver's Travels .... C-R-A-P!!!

I love these pictures and some excellent aerial shots
I love duty-free drinking and I feel CA have a contract with the Milano biscuit people.
I have never been to San Fransisco but been to LA a couple times. I can;t say it was a memorable stay either time. San Fransisco looks much more interesting - it looks like San Fernando with wide streets and less traffic
What I tell the souvenir people is that I love NY but I love my money even more.

..... and OMG .... that is exactly what I thought of San Franciso .... a lot of the place reminded me of Trinidad .... and yes .... San Fernando in particular .... an' is not like I frequent San Fernando ..... but from what I remember ..... the hills and the streets resembled .... oh and the houses on the hillside too ..... and then there was the beach .... or the coast or whatever they call it ..... which looked very similar tuh Maracas or Tyrico ....
PS: Milano biscuits are da bomb!

Some of the roads in and around Beverly Hills, L.A reminds me of Lady Young Road. I wish I had the pictures to show what I mean.

I am glad you had a great time in the USA...My furthest trip out west was to Arizona....America is so beautiful. But I must commend you because I cannot tolerate flying as I am mortally afraid of flying in airplanes 0_0

do you know if the indian expo will be up and running in Trinidad again for the rest of 2011. Im in london and I feel ill with the prices here. Its cheaper to go to india or come to Trini to buy the stuff. Plus, the variety in Trinidad is so much more
