Hear nah .... I cyah believe dat de one day I actually get ah lil 5 minutes tuh logon .....

BRAPS!!! ...... CURRENT GORN!!! ..... in de middle of typin!!!

Anyway .... since de last time ah was here on de scene (i.e. April 25) announcing my return tuh Trini ..... I was gone again .... just four days later ....

Yep .... I end up in Tobago!

But before ah get tuh dat .... leh meh jus say .... dat my breasts are OK (YAY!)
 
I got the good news two days before flyin out tuh Tobago .... but hear de scene wit dat scene .... 

Maybe about two weeks after doing de mammogram ..... I get ah call on my cell phone (in NY) ..... from de Cancer Society tellin me dat I have tuh come back tuh see dem ..... but at de time ..... I was not about tuh have no ROAMING conversation ..... so I tell de woman I outside ..... an' ah go call dem when ah come back ....

Now ..... altho the call was a lil scary ..... it wasn't too surprising ..... cuz the exact same thing happened when I did a mammogram many years ago ...... cuz yuh see .... not only am I dense in de head ..... but apparently I'm also dense in de breasts ..... and what dat means ..... is dat dey wasn't able tuh determine shit from de mammogram x-ray or whatever ..... so I had tuh go back tuh do an ultrasound ....

Now de ultrasound .... as far as I remember ..... wuzen no scene really ..... so with my mind kinda at ease ..... I went for my ultrasound .... which was scheduled for 1:00 pm .... but which only happened at nearly 2:00 pm ..... so ... needless tuh say .... I was a lil peeved ..... but ..... my peevity was soon allayed ..... when I walked into the examination room .... and the nurse looked at me .... then looked at my form ..... and blurted out my age ..... as in ..... you are 'so-an-so' years???!!! ..... yeah .... cuz .... apparently I don't look my age ..... so wit dah one .... yuh gyul was feelin lil nice .... until the doctor started tuh stroke my breast wit a big plastic-lookin ting laced wit some cold-ass gel ..... ughhhh ..... jus feelin dat gooey cold crap while being prodded and pressed .... was also gross ..... I mean it wasn't as bad as making pancakes outta yuh breasts .... but it was yuk too .....

An' ah know dat de last time ..... some peeps get turned off ..... an' say dat dey eh feelin tuh do no mammogram again .... after readin about it here .... but .... trust me .... doing it .... and finding out .... was ah real weight lifted off my shoulder ..... so now .... is onto the next 20 other body parts dat I tink need checkin!!!!

Right .... so as ah was sayin earlier .... I end up in Tobago .... de same weekend dat dey had de Jazz Festival ....

Now mind you .... I didn't go fuh de Jazz Fesival eh .... I went fuh After Jazz Fringe Fest .... an' tho the entire experience was borse .... all I really feelin tuh talk about now .... is ah pizza ah buy in Piarco Airport .... cuz I really couldn't believe that that place still in business .... and is pure laziness dat sen meh eh .... cuz ah was downstairs ....  headin tuh Royal Castle or KFC .... but noooo .... fren who was wit meh .... didn't want tuh go in no line .... so he suggest UPSTAIRS .... well fuss I doh be in de airport ... I didn't even know it have ah UPSTAIRS wit food .... AND a pseudo WAVIN GALLERY (a la de old airport) .... yeah .... so we reach upstairs now .... and de place empty .... which shoulda been sign number one .... cuz there we were ... thinking dat we was de smart ones .... well HELLO .... note tuh self .... no line by a food joint is NOT a good thing .... cuz watch meh .... could you believe dat these people sellin pizza .... ah 6" pizza .... and have de audacity .... tuh slice de pizza in 4 .... and tuh say dat all ah dem comin with CHEESE??!! .... den .... tuh top dat off .... dey make we pay $26 fuh said yellowish dough?! ..... yeah .... you read right .... I said yellowish dough .... cuz ugghhhh .... de ting was so tasteless .... and de dough was so doughy .... when ah tell yuh AWFUL .... is only bad-mind make meh eat it yuh know .... cuz money had done spend!!!

Now .... by now yuh woulda realise .... dat my mission is tuh inform and entertain ....

So .... BE INFORMED .... don't buy pizza by dat pizza place upstairs in de Airport ..... it sucks!




Steups .... de cheese in ah pizza is understood .... advertisin ah pizza wit ..... 'WHATEVER' & CHEESE .... is like sayin ..... TUNA SANDWICH & BREAD!!!

I see ah place called Tobago Supermarket .... den about two buildings up de road .... as see ah nex place called Tobago Shoe and Variety Store ...... wuz dah scene .... anybody out there from Tobago could explain?
